To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing to build, scale, and lead our marketing function.
Role Summary
The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth, accelerates brand awareness, and supports customer retention and expansion. This executive will play a critical role in aligning marketing with sales, product, and customer success to support both near-term revenue goals and long-term enterprise value creation.
The Vice President of Marketing will manage external communications, including public relations, thought leadership initiatives, and the company’s visibility across industry channels. This includes developing and executing PR strategies, securing speaking opportunities and media placements, representing the company at conferences and trade shows, coordinating booth messaging and materials, and ensuring a consistent, compelling brand presence in key industry forums and events
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and own the company’s overall marketing strategy, aligned with revenue, growth, and customer acquisition objectives
* Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide planning and decision-making
* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, including demand generation, product marketing, content, and communications
Demand Generation & Revenue Growth
* Drive predictable, scalable pipeline generation across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments
* Own funnel performance from awareness through conversion, in close partnership with Sales
* Establish and track key performance metrics (CAC, LTV, pipeline velocity, conversion rates, ROI)
Brand & Market Positioning
* Strengthen brand positioning and messaging to clearly articulate value propositions and competitive differentiation
* Oversee product marketing, including go-to-market strategies, launches, pricing support, and enablement
* Manage external communications, including PR, thought leadership, and industry presence
Digital & Lifecycle Marketing
* Lead digital marketing strategy across paid media, SEO, website optimization, email, and marketing automation.
* Develop lifecycle marketing programs that support onboarding, adoption, expansion, and retention
* Leverage customer insights, analytics, and feedback to continuously optimize performance
Budget & Operational Excellence
* Own and manage the marketing budget with a strong ROI mindset
* Implement scalable processes, systems, and reporting to support growth
Qualifications
Required
* 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with significant experience in B2B SaaS
* Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and supporting ARR expansion
* Experience building and leading marketing teams in a growth-stage environment
* Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform strategy and execution
* Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Experience marketing to Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, and similar professionals.
Preferred
* Experience marketing to enterprise customers and navigating long sales cycles
* Background working closely with product and sales teams in a SaaS business model
* Familiarity with modern marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms
